Black Forest-Baar-Region
DANUBE KISSES THE BLACK FOREST
The Black Forest-Baar-Region lies between Stuttgart and Lake Constance and continues to the southeastern part of the Black forest and the Swabian Alb with boarders to Switzerland. The city of Villingen-Schwenningen is the economical and cultural center of the region. The impressive Mittelgebirge mountains are located in the southern part of the Black Forest and are around 700 to 1000m high. Thanks to the mountain climate, the air is extra clear in this region, which is even amplified by the many water sources like Neckar, Brigach, Breg and Danube.
