Neuburg castle

The Renaissance castle is the oldest evangelic church building, also called the Bavarian Sixtina. Furthermore, it includes the state gallery for Flemish baroque paintings with exceptional artworks like Peter Paul Rubens, Antonis van Dyck. The shell grottos in the eastern wing of the residence are impressive baroque memorials.
