Alb trail (HW1)

The Alb trail always follows the edge. It is also known as "HW1" or "Noth edge trail" between Donauwoerth and Tuttlingen. The trail mostly consists of natural paths at the northern edge of the Swabian Alb. Along the 350 kilometres, the Alb trail passes impressive landscapes, geological sensations, proud fortresses, beautiful castles and imprecated stalactite caves. Now and then hikers can enjoy breathtaking views over the foothills from the numerous viewpoints.
