The Danube Cycle Path

The Danube is exciting, diverse, beautiful and restful at the same time. The 600 German kilometers of the Danube cycle path can be easily separated into daily stages. The Danube is the ideal bike region for anyone - sporty or comfortable with the whole family.

In the Black Forest the source river of the Danube originates - The Breg. From north rises another small river, called Bregach. As paradox it may seem, in Donaueschingen at the source the Danube ends. That’s because beside the Mosel the Danube is the only European river that is measured upstream.
