Ice Age Hunter path
Ice Age route
The caves of the Ach valley are known as the cradle of human art. Until today, we find traces of the glacial men and the first ever figurative artworks. Starting at the "Brillen" cave, the route leads through a rock labyrinth towards the "Guenzelburg" ruin. A narrow path takes you to the small Geißen monastery. From the viewpoint "Schillerstein", you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Blau valley and the Alb. Absolutely reasonable is the 3 kilometres long detour to the "Hohle Fels" cave in Schelklingen.
