Go on a hike thorugh 59 kilometres of exceptional alluvial forest. The variation of dry neglected grassland and the former riverbeds has a special charm. The decidious forest feels like a jungle. The lake scenery along the path originates from gravel extraction but in many places climbing plants and water lilies have renaturated the landscape. Especially the „Leite“, the border to the Danube Valley plateau, offers a breathtaking view over the alluvial forest.
