Witberg route

The 6 kilometres long Witberg route leads from the small forest area "Seven Cherry Trees" to the "Nägeles" rock to the Hertenstein ruin, where beautiful views over the Lauchertal valley await you. A plate at the ruin explains you the history of the former castle. The main part of the circular hiking trail leads through a shady beech forest and because of its short distance, the hike is a pleasure, especially on hot summer days.
